On 25th September 2013 Loui Aspinall almost 3 years old drowned in a pool whilst on a family holiday with his mum, dad and sister.
Emma (Loui's mum) reasearched into water safety and found
Infant Swim Survival.
This is a program that teaches children how to roll over onto their back to rest and breathe. Unlike regular swimming lessons, infant swim survival teaches safety first.
Unlike regular swimming lessons that are taught when children are much older, this is 100% survival. This skill is being taught in many countries but unfortunately not here in England until now.
Emma along with her family and friends raised the funds to enable Emma to undertake this specialist training in the US and then set up
"Infant Swim Survival"
here in the UK to give children the skills to help them if they got into difficulty.
Emma now teaches INFANT SWIM SURVIVAL here in the U.K @ Body Image fitness centre, Hindley Green.
We have a Facebook Group "Infant Swim Survival" where you can keep up to-date with all the latest news and see videos for yourself of the training now being carried out in Wigan.
Everyone at Doit4loui is working towards one goal, that not one more child will drown, drowning is PREVENTABLE.
This is Loui Aspinall's Legacy.
A truly special little boy that is much loved and even more missed.
